A New Drug Emerges

Statin drugs are among the most prescribed drugs used to treat high cholesterol. Unfortunately, there are many undesirable side effects associated with these. Even when taken in high doses, cholesterol levels may still remain elevated. For those of you in this situation, say hello to Zetia® (ezetimibe).
