AIMilano Apoprotein Shows New Promise in the Fight Against Atherosclerosis

A study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association has discovered a variant form of apoprotein AI. This variant form of apoprotein was found in a small Italian town known as Limone sul Garda, where scientists found that, despite the presence of a high amount of lipids and low amount of HDL in the blood, these patients had relatively healthy arteries.
