Grapefruit and Statins Do Not Mix!

Statins help keep high cholesterol in check. However, there are some drugs and foods that can interact with statins, either causing statins not to work or actually causing harm. Grapefruit is one of the most well-known, yet ignored, interactions with statins. So, if you take a statin, you should strictly watch your intake of grapefruit juice.
