Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals is voluntarily recalling certain lot numbers of the drug atorvastatin due to the possibility that foreign particles, such as small pieces of glass, may have been incorporated into the tablet during the manufacturing process. This recall affects 90 count and 500 count bottles of atorvastatin 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg tablets. If you take atorvastatin manufactured by Ranbaxy, you should check with your pharmacy to determine whether or not your medication is included under this recall.
