Almonds Can Lower Cholesterol Levels

Scientists at Loma Linda University have discovered the benefits of eating almonds. They found that individuals who consumed 10% of their total calories as almonds lowered their total cholesterol by 5% and their LDL "bad" cholesterol levels by 7%. Additionally, these individuals also increased their vitamin E intake as a result of eating almonds.. Check it out here.
