Olestra for lowering cholesterol?
- Before telling yes or no, I should know what Olestra is. Actually, I don't like to take things like that without knowing what they are. As long as I know, Olestra is a food additive, a combination of sugar and vegetable oils. I want to ask : How far this combination is not toxic for our body? If it is not toxic, I can consider it; however, the best choice for me is be careful with food I'm taking and daily activity rather than taking additives (that I really don't like them).

No
- I would absolutely not use Olestra in my diet. I have had a lot of intestinal problems everytime I have eating an Olestra containing food to lose weight. It is not worth it to me. I wish that they would come up with something that could not add fat to foods, but would also not make you feel sick.
