They are a convenient way to check your cholesterol levels -- whether you are just curious about your cholesterol or have already been diagnosed as having high cholesterol. You may have even been tempted to purchase one just to catch a peak at how your cholesterol-lowering efforts are progressing. Would you trust a home cholesterol test? Good idea. Helps to keep your diet on track if your values rise. You can make adjustments without the cost of a doc visit.

I would trust it and it is a good way to track cholesterol between doctor visits especially when I already know that I need to be watching it.
