Sometimes, lifestyle changes alone are not enough to help keep your cholesterol levels within normal range. In this case, your healthcare provider may have prescribed you medications to help lower your cholesterol. While these medications are effective, you may have trouble remembering to take them sometimes -- especially if this is the first time you have had to take medication every day. Do you have trouble remembering to take your cholesterol-lowering medication? If so, what steps have you taken to help yourself to remember? Whether it is using a pill box or just simply writing it down, share your tips with us. Share Your Tips

Rembering to take cholesterol medicine

I set my alarm clock in the evening so I won't forget.

Cholesterol pill as "eye opener"

I take my pill right away when I wake ab at 5AM with water I have on my bedside. My cholesterol was constantly out of control until one day when I changed my habit. One hour before and two hours after the pill I should not eat. Voila - it worked, and now I have breakfast in my office and feel great.

I take the tablet IMMEDIATELY after dinner always. While having dinner I always remind myself that my dinner is not over before taking the tablet and I have to take tablet after I have finished eating.
